Customs clearance through single window and integrated declaration involves obtaining NOCs from various allied Government agencies and departments as applicable for the particular HS Code of that product. Such other Government agencies are referred to as ‘Participating Government Agencies’ (PGA).

Many of these procedures involve tedious and time-consuming processes, such as taking appointments, scrutiny of documents by the concerned authority, payments of testing fees and inspection fees, arranging and co-ordinating inspection, withdrawal, sealing and forwarding of samples, lab tests analysis, external fumigation, follow up for reports and NOC and so on.
Some NOCs may also involve:
- Waiver / Exemption of NOC in eligible cases
- Provisional NOC in certain cases
- Final NOC
In certain cases, pre-shipment permits, licenses, labelling and certifications may also be required.
Other Value Added Services
Products can be labelled at Customs Bonded Warehouse or at FTWZ for adhering to statutory labelling compliances such as MRP, FSSAI, etc prior to clearance under home consumption. For more details of Bonded Cargo click here.
Cargo marine insurance can be arranged for Warehouse to Warehouse or Port to Port as per your requirements.
Third Party Cargo Inspection and Survey for import consignments can be arranged from authorised or nominated agencies. Joint insurance inspection surveys can be co-ordinated when necessary.
The Supplier is expected to ship the cargo in sea-worthy packaging which is able to sustain the normal wear and tear and usual handling of cargo up to final destination. However, upon specific and express instructions by the Importer, we can arrange additional strapping, choking, dunnage or other similar measures of securing the cargo in place on the vehicle while movement from port of discharge to final destination in case of Air, LCL or loose cargo only (not for FCL).
In case of damaged cargo or upon request, we can arrange the palletisation and / or repacking of the cargo at the CFS premises.
In certain cases, fumigation can be arranged at destination prior to clearance as per order of the concerned authority.
